Welcome to SoCal Public Relations!
Literary P.R. – Specializing in Children’s & Young Adult Books
My name is Rebecca Grose, and after more than 20 years in literary p.r., I know how to build buzz for new books, generate media coverage for backlist titles, and help authors gain more recognition for their work and thereby, grow their brand — which has become much more important in recent years. Using my experience in every genre and age level (picture books, YA, historical fiction, middle grade, etc), and having worked with large and small publishers (incl Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, DK Publishing, and Harcourt), I am able to strategize and design successful publicity campaigns for my clients. My services also include consulting with my clients, to answer their questions and offer suggestions re conventions or conferences to attend, how to work with your publisher to achieve your goals, and much more.
Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing
Paul Crichton, Former Vice President, Director of Publicity:
“Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing has been happily working with Rebecca Grose and SoCal PR for years now. Whether it’s a debut author looking to get some additional publicity or an established author needing help with press on a book tour, Rebecca has always delivered. Rebecca is a true professional and I would highly recommend her and SoCal PR for both authors looking to bring on freelance publicists as well as publishers looking to bring on an outside publicist to supplement in-house efforts.”
